To laugh often and much, to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children...to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others, to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition...to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived: this is to have succeeded.

I enjoyed your post. :)
Loved what you wrote - made me happy to see your name up there this morning. Well done, you.
I wanted to share my story of how my bathing suit failed me--age 10, at the top of a slide, with about 10 kids behind me, waiting in line for their turn. At the top, I paused to pose and prolong their wait, and initially took delight in their giggles, until I realized that they were giggling at my exposed backside... it's a childhood memory that I wonder if I'd live differently if I could do it over again.
;)
The thread didn't seem to be going in a direction to support wardrobe failures.
love that quote, I needed that.
